File4WS Action Research, Kerala.

The action research on Women, Well- being, Work Waste and Sanitation (4WS) a project supported by European Union and co-ordinated by International Resource Centre for water and Sanitation (IRC). The project is carried out in coastal zone communities in Bangladesh, India and Sri Lanka. Each country has an NGO and a university partner for this action research. The overall aim is to contribute to improved health and socio-economic development in a replicable manner. The project period is for 42 months from January 2003 ended in June 2006. Here is a brief report on the 4WS programme, Kerala.

ArticleRCN Kerala invite organisational profiles to its Blue Pages

As part of RCN Kerala initiative, the secratariat and core group put forward a thought of publishing a blue pages – a directory of organisations working in the WatSan sector and a total of 31 organisations which is having proven experience sent their profile to RCN Kerala. We are in the process of compiling the same to publish and to make it available in the web pages as well in the near future. The objective is to make the information about ourselves and our expertise available to the sector.
